PJs and another snow day!

we got a lot of snow following the blizzard! The drifts in some areas are HUGE.....over 3-4 feet I am sure. I have some that high in the backyard. I did clear a path to head out and feed the birds.....and also the front walk. I ended up calling someone to snowblow my driveway out....it was really deep. Noah wants to go playing in it....but the winds are still pretty strong and it is still cold. AND it is sooo deep....Noah would not be able to even walk on it and move...it is clear past his butt!

Here are a few pictures:

Noah, My little man. You have just told me you don't want to go outside because it's too deep. Well, that's the time to just go and jump in the snow...heehee. I know once you're out...you'll not want to come in for sometime.
Maybe mommy can take pictures of you jumping into the drifts.
I love you a lot and always will.
Love Daddy

I don't know about up there, but down here the snow is not soft, after the second bunch of stuff dropped, it froze it to the point you can almost (if not too heavy) walk over the top of it. This is Friday and we're dog sitting for Becky, Mack walked out and he was able to walk across the top with out falling through. Thank goodnes, because I don't think I could have gotten him in. Now I take him out on his leash and he can only go where I want him to go.
Because as heavy as I am, I would fall into the big piles of hard snow. She said I wouldn't have to check on the cats until tomorrow. Thank goodness, it's so cold out there today. Love you little man. Stay in doors and play until it warms up some. Love, Grandma

Griffin and I just moved from Alaska to SC and I miss the snow. Thanks for sharing the photos of your beautiful snow, it brings back fond memories. Is it a dry powdery snow or is wet and slushy? I prefer the powdery kind with the dry climate like we had in Alaska, it's not so great for making snow people though. Have a great day!!!

it is powdery! Weird because it reminds me of snow in Colorado....very dry and powdery! I expected more wet snow here in Ohio....but no....so far it has always been powdery!
